I amtrying to submit a claim of compensation for denial of entry onto a flight, probably due to overbooking.
I booked the flight on Delta Airlines with frequent flyer miles and was placed on a KLM flight.

My connecting flight out of Amsterdam to Rome was changed by the airline. As a result my 2.5 hour layover became an 11 hour layover. What’s worth is that the original flight that I scheduled from Amsterdam was not canceled. It flew as scheduled. I only learned that after landing in Amsterdam nearly on time. I saw the original flight listed on the departure flight as being On Time. No other notice was provided to me that I was essentially bumped off my flight, with no compensation given for being bumped.
Return direct flight was cancelled. We had a flight booked from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlanta then a connecting flight from Atlanta to Boston, they flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlanta was delayed 3 times which would have not made it possible for us to make the connecting flight from Atlanta to Boston. We had to rebook the direct flight to Boston for the next day resulting in the cost of a Hotel .
